Abstract (EN)
Thalassemia is a hereditary disease caused by major beta globin chain formation disorder; Influence of growth and development as a result of accumulation of iron in tissues and organs due to production, destruction, increased absorption and transfusion of erythrocytes, skeletal abnormalities, puberty disorders, thyroid dysfunctions, osteoporosis, cardiac dysfunction, hepatic failure, gonadal dysfunction, diabetes mellitus, parath yroid gland It is a group of diseases in which many complications are seen according to the affected organ, such as disorders. In this study, we aimed to determine the complications that occur in thalassemia major patients receiving regular transfusions an d compare them with the literature data.
