Village chambers, which emerged as the area of social and cultural identities in Turkish cultural life, have important functions as places where individuals feel that they belong to a place and are equipped with values in rural areas where masculine tradition is dominant. Today, due to the decreasing village population as a result of the migration from the village to the city, the interest in the village chambers has decreased and as a result, the village chambers that are out of use have come to the point of extinction. In this study, village chambers of Beyşehir district of Konya province were examined. It was decided to work on this subject in order to document the village chambers that have survived to the present day with photographs and drawings and introduce them to the scientific world. Village chambers, one of the significant products of Turkish folk architecture and culture, are disappearing today because they have lost their function. In this study, it is aimed to determine the place in Turkish Folk Art by evaluating the village chambers that survive today in terms of architecture. It is also aimed to record the social function of village chambers. Before moving on to the architectural features of the buildings, it would be appropriate to give information about the purpose of the village chambers and their importance in terms of Turkish culture. Because of there is no timely research on the aforementioned structures, this study has been examined on the basis of basic sources, and on-site investigations and information obtained from the local people are of primary importance as a source.
