Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to determine factors affecting the job satisfaction levels of Information Technology (IT) workers. 455 IT workers from different cities of Turkey participated in the study. A questionnaire was used to collect data. The collected data were analyzed using factor analysis, regression analysis and one-way ANOVA. As a result of analyses, it was found that sense of belonging, acceptance, job fulfillment, job autonomy, role clarity, role conflict, autonomy, fairness of rewards and job exhaustion are factors related to job satisfaction. On the other hand, demographic variables of gender, age, education level, salary, experience and industry type are not related to the job satisfaction of IT workers.
