Abstract (EN)
With the increasing mechanization in the world and in our country, with the advancement of technology, production is becoming more and more different. The ceramic industry has also taken its place in this developing technology, and the number of businesses in our country has increased day by day. In order to meet the increasing production of the enterprises, there has been an increase in the number of machines and employees. These increases can lead to work accidents that occur unintentionally. At this stage, businesses need to ensure the occupational health and safety of their workers with all kinds of machinery working at every stage of their production. In addition, the correct determination of the hazards within the enterprise will also prevent the occupational accidents that may occur. For this reason, the risks should be determined by determining the business risks and choosing the most accurate risk assessment method for the business. In this study, in a factory producing in the ceramics industry, necessary environmental measurements were made to ensure a healthy and peaceful working environment, and risk analysis was made in the Fine-Kinney method in order to prevent work accidents, and evaluations were made according to the value of the resulting risk score. According to the results obtained; 154 risk assessments were made. Dust (risk score 4000) and fire (risk score 6000) are high-risk hazards throughout the factory, and it is noteworthy that the noise risk score (risk score 4000) in the granule preparation and raw material departments is at an intolerable level. The levels of risks identified within the enterprise have been tried to be reduced to appropriate levels with corrective actions.
