Abstract (EN)
Ceramic techniques and art which developed after start of controlled use of fire, is one of the most important inventions in human history. Ceramic art and techniques differentiated among civilisations because of their unique characteristics however the fring process never changes. Marbling art (ebru) is creating a visual beauty on surface of water by using paint. Purpose of my work, finding alternative solutions to mistakes caused by vibration of hand and brush in painting process of biscuit ceramic. By this work, i tried to show different and effective ways of painting ceramic with least fault. During our research we enabled painting ceramic surfaces without negative effects such as brush mark, paint thickness. Painting process which takes too much time with brush can be finished in a short time period by the help of our way of painting in our work. However there must be harmony between paint and ceramic during this process. We explored that practices without paint-ceramic harmony are unsuccesful. We developed new techniques to solve problems which occured in implemantation process of our research. We had positive and negative results at the end of our research. We tried to find alternative solutions for negative results. Our research showed that dominance of brush in painting ceramic can be reduced or finished. In conclusion my thesis will proıvide information for new practices about painting ceramic by using marbling art.
