Abstract (EN)

In this study, the biodiversity of terrestrial nematodes was investigated in Yeniçağa Lake peatlands in Bolu province. The study was carried out in three different habitats [Agricultural land (1st Zone), Meadow-Pasture (2nd Zone) and peat soil (3rd Zone)] and two sub-regions (Adaköy and Hamzabey). A total of 30 soil and root samples were taken from the habitats and the nematodes obtained from the samples were counted at genus level. As a result of the study, nematodes belonging to 36 genera in 20 families and 7 orders of plant parasitic, bacterivorous, fungivorous, predators and omnivorous nematodes were detected. It was determined that 16 of the 36 species of nematodes were plant parasitic nematodes, 12 of them were bacterivorous nematodes, 4 of them were fungivorous nematodes, 2 of them were predator nematodes and 6 of them were omnivorous nematodes. Bacterivorous nematodes (Monhystera spp., Panagrolaimus spp., Acrobeles spp., Cervidellus spp., Acrobeloides spp., Plectus spp. and Wilsonema spp.) are the most common nematodes, and the least common are omnivorous nematodes (Mononchids spp. Dorylaimid spp.,) and predatory nematodes (Triphyla spp., Momysterida spp., Odontopharynx spp., Diplogaster spp., Seinura spp., and Mermithid spp.). Root knot nematodes, Meloidogyne spp. and Cyst nematode, Heterodera spp were found as plant parasitic nematodes in the agricultural land (Zone 1) habitat. In terms of nematode biodiversity, plant parasitic nematodes were found in agricultural land (1st zone) habitat, and bacterivorous, fungivorous, predator and omnivorous nematodes were found to be abundant in Meadow-Pasture (2nd Zone) and Peat soil (3rd Zone) habitats. It was determined that biodiversity in Hamzabey köy sub-region was higher than in Adaköy village.
