Abstract (EN)

In this study, some biological parameters of Brevicoryne brassicae (Hemiptera: Aphididae) on Monrello, Parthenon, Monaco and Stryker broccoli cultivars were evaulated. For this purpose, the effects of the varieties to the nymphal development time, survival rate, preoviposition, oviposition, survival rate and postoviposition period, longevity and reproduction of Brevicoryne brassicae have been revealed. The total developmental time of Brevicoryne brassicae was the highest (5.10 d) on Monrello, while it was the lowest (4.38 d) on Stryker under University of Dicle Agriculture Faculty Plant Protection entomology laboratory conditions (20 ± 1 °C, 65 ± 5 % Relativily humidity, 16:8 L:D). Net reproductive rate (Ro) was the highest (8.68 off spring/aphid/generation) on Monrello. The intrinsic rate of increase (rm) was the highest on Stryker with 4.82 day-1 and the lowest on Monaco with 0.278556 day-1. In this study, Monrellobroccoli variety against to Brevicoryne brassicae was found to be more sensitive than others
