Bursa metropolitan municipality and central district municipalities effectiveness of music and instrument education

This research; Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, Osmangazi Municipality, Nilufer Municipality, Yildirim Municipality, within the structure of music education and instrument training activities were identified and suggestions were made to the problems of the activities to make positive contributions to the community life. In the first part of the study, the researches which are directly or indirectly related to the subject are included, the history of the activities related to music and instrument education in Bursa central municipalities and the current practices are briefly introduced. In the second part of the study; and educational practices applied in order to determine the effectiveness of music and instrument education performed within the body of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and central district municipalities, and findings of obtaining opinions from teachers and students working in these institutions for the determination of the current situation.are taken place. In the third part, it is tried to determine the situation of music and instrument education used in the institutions connected to the municipalities in the metropolitan and central districts according to the the opinions of teachers and students. As a result of the findings, it was understood that the aims of music and instrument education in these institutions were not determined, The content was created with the opinions of the teachers, the applications were not arranged in a way to increase the efficiency of education, and suggestions were made for the education to be more productive.
