Abstract (EN)
Even though the working students, as the age of education and maturing, whoare supposed to spend their spare times with games and activities improving themselves,but not only they can?t benefit from their rights, they also have to work, continue toattend the school, their working life can become former their education. Their spendingtime by working after school damages their success negatively.Inspire from this, in this research, it is aimed to determine the educationalopinion and expectancies of studying and working students in primary schools. InAdana Seyhan 362 sutudents in 7 primary schools are included the research and theiropinions. And answers to the carried out poll are evaluated. Per and frequency are usedfor the evaluation of the discoveries from poll and the answers to the open-endedIt is determined from the research that the working students are aware of the factthat their working life affects the school life negatively. It?s understood that the rate ofnon- attendance is high, they become stranger to the school and fail, moreover, theyhave some expectations from their teacher and parents? in name of being moresuccessful at school.According to research, why children work is economic reasons and why theycan?t benefit from education is that the level of their parents income is very low. Mostof working students visions and expectancies about education are positive and theythink that education is neccesary for a good a profession and job but they are aware oftheir situation. The few of working students? visions and expectancies about educationare negative but it is obvious that this result directly relates to the child?s not living in aatmosphere of a reliable family and education.The suggestions for the working children?s expectancies about education andsolution for their problems are given by leading to the discoveries of research. The mosturgent suggestion is making the teachers who have a close relation with them consciousof working students. Because, a good model of teacher can make the child think ofcontinuing his education.Key Words: Working Children, Child Labour, Educational Expectancy
