The moss flora of Alpsari pound and province

Carried out in this study; Alpsarı pound (Çankırı) and province collected from 332 mosses samples; As a result of diagnosis under the microscope, 73 taxa belonging to 31 genera and 15 families were determined. In terms of taxa number, the richest 5 families are Pottiaceae (26), Brachytheciaceae (10), Grimmiaceae (7), Orthotrichaceae (6), Bryaceae (5) respectively. The richest species in terms of taxa number are; Tortula (8), Orthotrichum (7), Syntrichia (7), Grimmia (6), and Bryum (5). While acrocarpous taxa (54) represent 75 % of the whole flora, the ratio of pleurocarpous ones (18) is 25 %. In the light of these findings; From Çankırı province are given for the first time taxa are: Funaria hygrometrica (Hedw.), Grimmia alpestris (F.Weber & D.Mohr) Schleich., Bryum pallens (Sw. ex anon.) From A2 grid square are given for the first time-registered ones taxa are: Ceratodon conicus (Hampe) Lindb., Weissia longifolia (Mitt.), Bryum intermedium (Brid.) Blandow, Grimmia crinita Brid, and Tomentypnum nitens (Hedw.) Loeske. Pterygoneurum subsessile (Brid.) Jur. registration is given for the second time in Turkey. In addition, P. crossidioides (W. Frey, Herrnstr. & Is Kurschner) is reported for the first time in Turkey. The record before this species in Israel and Hungary in the world, it is a rare species in arid areas spread.
