Özet (EN)
There is not enough research in the literature on the Molotov cocktail, which is often accompanied by death or injury from a forensic and medical point of view. For this reason, it remains a foreign term for most doctors. The Molotov cocktail, decommunized among low power explosives, is also known to many as an explosive, based on its classification. But the Molotov cocktail is not an explosive, but a hand-made incendiary. The purpose of its use in combat operations, terrorist attacks is to set fire to targets. Thus, it creates chaos in the environment and releases fear and anxiety of the wto. In our study, classic homemade Molotov cocktails were used. Oil, diluent, sugar, cologne, epoxy resin, paraffin, egg white, liquid and solid detergent, bleach, wood glue were added to the mixture. Parameters such as burning temperature, burning time, glass and nail spreading diameter, and residues of the Molotov cocktail were investigated. The prepared molotov cocktails were broken on 5 different floors, and the effect of changing the floor on the parameters was investigated. Of the 86 Molotov cocktails prepared in our study, 51 (59.3%) were broken. The highest rate of destruction was observed on concrete floors. According to our results, the significance between the various ingredients of the Molotov cocktail and the achieved burning time and burning temperatures was found. It has been found that high burning and high burning time can be achieved by adding some raw materials to the mixture, and thus the destruction of the environment can be increased. In addition, our research has shown that the Molotov cocktail does not explode by itself and is not damaged when the nails in it pop out when it breaks.
