Interactive teaching methods in environmental education

Scientific and technological developments are specified the most important purpose in allcountries in the world. Education is the most urgent way to reach this purpose. Education supportedby science and technology will integrate their interests and curiosity besides capables and behaviours.Education system which see education at school as teacher centered and just the way oftransforming information leave their place to new system, thanks to cognitive and technologicaldevelopments. These are new approach to make teaching as learning centered and versatilecommunication.The aim of this study, according to traditional teaching method on learners, to determine theincrease of acedemical management of problem based and learning circulation approach.This study is performed in 2005-2006 education year participation of a learner who is the 7thclass in the 75. Year Secondary School in Township of Manisa, Demirci,In research, determination of the groups which are applied traditional teaching, problem basedlearning and learning circle methods, is implemented in a neutral way, fort his purpose, it is drawn lotsamong 7/B, 7/A and 7/D Classes. According to this in 7/B Class, learning circle method, in 7/A classproblem based learning and 7/D class, traditional learning approach is applied in the lessons. Pre andpost measurements are in all three groups. All groups were given educations by the researher. Andalso after applied of post test, ?observationand interview techniques? (Yıldırım, Şimşek, 2000) areusedto determine learners nations about active learning method.During interview, groups are asked whether entry information is helpful while learning subject,it has any contribution to daily life and in which parts they need guidance.At the end of the research gained data is evaluated as frequency, variance analysis (ANOVA)and kovaryans analysis (ANCOVA).The result of statistical evaluation, it is confirmed that problem based learning methodincreases the learner?s academic success when compared with learning circle.
