Abstract (EN)
During the 20th century, many problems such as climate change and global warming disaster, reduction in water resources, damages to the farm lands, and environmental pollution occurred as a result of various technological developments. Additionally, people also increase the production and consumption level to raise their welfare and further development at the risk of deterioration of the ecological balance by using the natural resources inattentively. The climate change and global warming have been identified as the most important environmental disasters that have ever been seen in history and produced by the human being. That's why; to bring up children who are aware of the environment when consuming is more important than before. In socialization of the next generation, children as consumers, it is important to bring up them in scope of a plan from the first day they start learning consumption. This study has been designed to reveal the relations between the maternal child- rearing attitudes and the socialization of the children as consumers. The purpose of the practice is to find out how the mothers with different child-rearing attitudes influence the consumption behaviors of children.
