Abstract (EN)

In this research, academic success level and their academic success level comparing to the other multiple intelligences of 6th, 7th, and 8th class students who are musically intelligent students among the multiple intelligences? has been researched.The research has been done on 210 students who are 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students of three different schools which are different from each other socioeconomically in Istanbul ?Büyükçekmece region in 2007 ? 2008 educational term.In this research, student information forms and also ?Multıple Intelligence Determination Inventory? which is developed by Orijin Danışmanlık AŞ has been used as data gaining instrument in order to determine the multiple intelligence areas of the students. The result has been commented comparing to the students? report card arithmetic average. The datum which gained from the research has been analyzed in packet Programme of SPSS (Statistical Packet for The Social Sciences)As a result of the research, there are some students who has the eight multiple intelligences out of the eight multiple intelligence theories. Also, it has been determined that musically intelligent students are academically 4th comparing to other branches of multiple intelligence. But it has been emerged that musically intelligent students are 3rd when the number of successful students percentage is compared among all the intelligences?Key Words: Academic Success, Intelligence, The Theory of Multiple Intelligences, Intelligence Areas, Musical Intelligence,
