Abstract (EN)
This dissertation is a comparative analysis of National Socialist and Kemalist single-party regimes in order to find out the similarities and differences between these contemporary ideologies which came to life in inter-war era Europe where authoritarianism was the dominant political system. The study pays particular attention to a special kind of authoritarianism; fascism and its defining characteristics. It further seeks to compare the aforementioned regimes regarding their willingness and tenacity in adopting these characteristics.Keywords: National Socialism, Kemalism, Authoritarianism, Fascism
