Manuscri̇pts related to exegesi̇s found in Çorum Hasan Paşa Library

Manuscripts play a leading role in reaching us of scientific and cultural accumulation. From this point of view, in this study, manuscripts in Hasan Pasha Provincial Public Library about the field of tafsir, which are instrumental in our understanding of the Qur'an, are discussed. It is aimed to determine and analyze the manuscripts that are the subject of the study in an order. In addition, this thesis will be a preliminary preparation for the special studies to be made on the identified manuscripts. In the first chapter, the importance of writing and manuscripts is mentioned, and the history of Hasan Pasha Provincial Public Library is given. In the second part, the manuscripts related to the tafsir in the mentioned library were identified and briefly introduced. In addition, the existence of the author of the work and whether it belongs to the field of tafsir are discussed. In the last part, information about the manuscripts and their authors was given and evaluations were made. As a result, it has been tried to correct the information errors about the identified works and to create a data that can reach collective information about the manuscripts related to the commentary specific to a certain library. 2022, XV+91 KEYWORDS:Tafsir, Manuscript, Hasan Pasha, Library
