Abstract (EN)
The descriptive relational survey model was used in the research conducted to determine the effects of practices and working conditions in the COVID-19 process on the job performance and life satisfaction of healthcare workers. The population of the research consists of health workers working at Academic Hospital, a private hospital in Istanbul. The sample of the study was calculated by the simple random sampling method and consists of 170 people who voluntarily participated in the research. Four questionnaire forms were used as data collection tool.In evaluating the research data; descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test in paired group comparisons to indicate whether there is a significant difference between the scales used in the study and demographic variables, one-way analysis of variance in threegroup comparisons, pearsoncorrelation analysis to determine the relationship between the scales, and simple and multiple regression in testing research hypotheses. analysis methods were used.As a result of the analyzes, it has been determined that the scale of hospital practices and working conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic process is valid and reliable and can be used reliably in the next research. It has been determined that hospital practices and working conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic process have a significant positive relationship between Protective Measures for the Transmission of COVID-19 (PMT) and Support for Healthcare Professionals in COVID-19 (SHP) work performance and life satisfaction. In addition, it was seen that there was a significant and positive relationship between PMT and SHP sub-dimensions. During the COVID-19 pandemic process, it was determined that the effect of SHP, which is one of the hospital practices and working conditions and its sub-dimensions, on work performance was significant and positive, while PMT had no effect on work performance. In addition, hospital practices and working conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic process, protective measures related to the transmission of COVID-19 from its sub-dimensions, have a positive effect on life satisfaction, while the support and working conditions provided to healthcare workers in COVID-19 do not have a significant effect on life satisfaction.
