Özet (EN)

In this study Bi2Sr2Ca0.925Na0.075Cu2Oy + x wt% Ag addition with x= 0,1,3, 5 superconducting ceramics have been prepared by sol-gel method, followed by laser floating zone (LFZ) technique for acquiring directional growth. The obtained samples have been characterized using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) together with energy dispersive X-Ray (EDS) spectrometer, magneto-resistance, magnetization and magnetic hysteresis techniques. From XRD, all samples are composed by nearly single Bi-2212 phase. SEM-EDS analysis yields the Bi-2212 phase as a major one confirming XRD. From magneto-resistance measurement, broadening of superconduction transition has been observed under magnetic field between 0 and 6 T. Thermally Activated Flux Flow (TAFF) model is used to investigate flux pinning energy of the samples. Flux pinning energies are calculated as 0.048 eV for 1 wt% Ag and 0.057 eV for 3 wt% Ag containing sample under 4T magnetic field.
