Demokrasi sürecinde Kıbrıs (1959-1963)

The events that occurred between 1959 and 1963 on the island of Cyprus between Turkish and Greek Cypriots are explored in this research. The evolution and causes of the Cyprus Problem are discussed in this context. The contrasts between Greece's and Turkey's ideological approaches have been studied as of 1950. Furthermore, the events that began between the two states with the formation of the Republic of Cyprus in 1960 and evolved as a consequence of Makarios' interests were examined.
