It is known that the Turks used the barter method for a long time. Later, the Turks were among the nations that used almost every economic tool. Especially the Inner Asia, where the Turks live and control, is a region where ancient trade is very intense. The Silk Road, which started in China and ended on the Mediterranean coast in this region, has been the lifeboold of economic activities in the ancient world. The Turks have held the control of the Silk Road for centuries. In this way, they learned and developed many economic activities such as trade, logistics and production and marketing methods. In addition, it would not be wrong to say that the Turks established the trade route known as the Fur Road, starting from the Caspian and Bulgarian countries and extending to China. Because, in addition to live animals, animal products and furs uf game animals have been among the important income sources for Turkish people. As an accumulation of such economic activities, the Turks have made significant developmends in the field of trade. For example, the Ahi system has an important place in Turkish states as a result of this knowledge. In addition, the establishmend of large markets in Turkestan has been very important for domestic and foreing markets. These accumulations were brought to Anatolia by increasing. In particular, the Ahi organization has left its mark on the economy for hundreds of years as a very important commercial institution in Anatolia. In this study, the appearance of the economic activities of the Turks in the Anatolian people has been tried to be examined. Hence, it is aimed to obtain information about the economic activities of the Turkish people in Anatolia and to reach a judgment based on the terms related to trade in the Halk Ağzından Derleme Sözlüğü.
