The occupational satisfaction of religious officials;the case of Korgan

Profession is one of the most important processes in human life. People spend most of his day at working their job. In this respect, the level of occupational satisfaction of the individuals is important both for the purpose of the job and for the pleasure of his work and therefore for his life. The profession of religious duty, which is one of the official occupational groups in our country, is not only limited to material dimension, but also has a spiritual dimension. In this study, the professional satisfaction levels of the religious officials working in Ordu province Korgan district Mufti's incorporate in district center and in the villages connected to the center were examined according to the status of some variables. For this purpose, the prepared ''personal information questionnaire'' and the ''Occupational Satisfaction Scale'' were applied in May 2018 to religious officials working in the Korgan district center and in villages connected to the center. Variance analysis, t-test and Tukey HSD tests were used to analyse the data. As a result of the research, the occupational satisfaction levels according to the duty area of the religious officer, the place of duty, the salary status, the attitude of the managers, the relationship with the colleagues, the average age, the level of education, the years in his/her service, take annual leave, professional knowledge and skills were tested.
