Abstract (EN)

With the acceptance of Islam by the Türk, the Quran has been a sacred book guiding people and shining as a divine light for centuries. Over the years, translations have been made to understand, interpret, and apply this book. The first Türkçe translations began during the Karakhanid period and continued in both Eastern and Western Turkic languages. The initial translations were made line-by-line, word-for-word. The work that our study focuses on is written in Old Anatolian Türkçe, line-by-line. It is a translation of the Quran registered under the archival number 11681 in the Manuscript Collection of Koyunoğlu City Museum and Library. The translation text is written on pages ranging from 389A to 430B. It starts with verse 93 of Surah Al-Kehf and ends with verse 173 of Surah Şuara, covering Surahs Maryam, Ta-Ha, Al-Anbiya, Al-Hacc, Al-Mu'minun, An-Nur, Al-Furkan, and Ash-Şuara. Afterwards, an examination was conducted on the text regarding "Religious Terms No Longer Used Today." During the translation of the work we focused on, each line was supported with visuals. It was presented in three forms: Arabic, Türkçe, and line-by-line translation. The text is occasionally a vocalized text. In the examination of religious terms conducted on the text, the Türkçe equivalents of each term were provided, supported by examples from the text. Our study consists of five sections. The introduction provides general information about Quran translations and the history of Quran translations. The purpose, significance, and limitations of the research are discussed under subheadings. The second section contains "Related Research," which includes studies relevant to the subject. In the third section, detailed information is provided about the methods applied during our research. The fourth section, "Findings," presents the data obtained throughout the study. Finally, we concluded our study by including the "Discussion, Conclusion, and Recommendations" section, which discusses the evaluation of the data obtained.
