Özet (EN)
In this study, the effects of pulsed magnetic field and antioxidants on contraction parameters, antioxidant enzyme levels and stress factors, which is an alternative treatment method for deformation of diabetic rats in aortic muscles, were investigated. 120 male Wistar albino rats were divided into 12 groups, 10 animals in each group. In the determined groups, diabetes case was performed with intraperitoneally injection of streptozotocin substance. For pulsed magnetic field applications, rats were exposed to a horizontal magnetic field for 1 hour a day for 1 month in the 50 Hz frequency and 1 mT force. In antioxidant applications, two different antioxidant types were used as resveratrol and pterostilbene. Antioxidants were injected intraperitoneally into groups determined at appropriate doses for 1 month at the same time of the day. As a result of the experiment, blood was taken from the hearts of the rats by the decapitation method and aortic tissues were removed. The antioxidant enzyme levels and heat shock protein levels by ELISA method Thoracic aorta preparations isolated in rats were first kept in organ baths with Krebs solution for 60 minutes with 1.5 g tension during the equilibration period. Then, contraction forces (mg) with 10-6 M KCL solution, relaxation parameters (%) with 10-6 M ACh or SNP were observed and these parameters were recorded with the BIOPAC MP35 system. According to the findings we obtained at the end of the experiment, it was observed that rats with diabetic aorta had shorter relaxation times and higher contraction forces compared to controls, but a decrease in the contraction force of the aorta and an increase in the relaxation time were observed due to the magnetic field and antioxidant effect. It suggests that non-invasive pulsed magnetic field and antioxidant administration may help prevent the increased risk of heart disease in diabetic individuals.
