Abstract (EN)
The seeds of the safflower plant contain 20-50% oil and the fact that they are approximately 90% (oleic and linoleic) in terms of total unsaturated fatty acids is proof of how important the quality of edible oil is. This study was carried out to examine the effects of different phosphorus and nitrogen doses on yield and yield parameters in some safflower cultivars in the research and application area allocated to Dicle University, Faculty of Agriculture, Field Crops Department in the 2019-20 and 2020-21 growing seasons in Diyarbakir irrigated conditions carried out for 2 years. The experiment was established according to the experimental design of divided plots divided in random blocks and 2 types (Dinçer and Safir), 3 different doses (0, 6, 12 kg/da) of pure phosphorus fertilizer, 4 different doses (0, 5, 10, 15 kg/da) pure nitrogen fertilizer application and 4 replications, a total of four factors were discussed. In this study; plant.height, number.of lateral branches, number.of heads, diameter.of the tray, main stem thickness, petal yield, thousand-seed weight, seed yield, crude oil ratio and protein ratio values were investigated. In the light of the data obtained, according to the phosphorus * nitrogen * variety interaction of the two-year averages; The highest seed yield was obtained from Safir variety (304.84 kg/da) with the application of 5 kg N + 12 kg phosphorus per decare, while the lowest value was obtained from the Dinçer variety with 0 kg N + 0 kg phosphorus application per decare (187,57 kg/da) were obtained. Protein ratio was found between 12,26-19,50%. The highest oil rate was determined from Safir variety (39,30%) with 15 kg N + 12 kg phosphorus application per decare, and the lowest value was determined from Dinçer variety (28,03%) with 0 kg N + 0 kg phosphorus application per decare. As a result of this study, it is anticipated that it will shed light on both science and producers, considering that the unconscious and excessive use of fertilizers will be prevented, as well as preventing environmental pollution.
