Abstract (EN)
Wheat, which ranks first in terms of both cultivation and production in the world and our country to human food as well as a significant cultivar used in animal feeding. Wheat border and adaptation, production, transportation, storage and processing due to its ability to ease and bread in many countries, has accelerated the process of increasing production. Rapid population growth, the resulting fragmented and declining agricultural production areas, adequate and balanced nutrition, it becomes more difficult with each passing day. Therefore, to meet the growing nutritional needs, well adapted to ecological conditions of the region, having high yield and quality characteristics is of great importance to determine the genotypes In this study, physical, chemical and technological properties of five different foreign origin varieties of bread wheat and a standard bread wheat cultivar commonly grown in the Southeastern Anatolia Region, determining their ability to adapt to the region in terms of the yield and quality in dry conditions of Diyarbakır and comparisons were made of the region the standard varieties. As a result of research, higher plant height (93.8 cm), spike length (9:43 cm) and grain yield per unit area (537.3 kg / ha), but high grain moisture at harvest (8.36%) and low protein content (10.52%) of Adana-99 cultivar, although was concluded satisfactory in terms of grain yield but in terms of quality is not satisfactory Tigre variety of foreign origin, it was found that have high hectolitre weight (84.49 kg), early (143 days), low tillering potential (1.93 unit / plant), high plant grain yield (3.30 g), high hardness value (175.66). In terms of chemical and technological properties of the protein rate (15.89%), wet gluten value (35.36%) and sedimentation value (50.4 ml), which is superior to other cultivars, showing low starch content (64.16%) and also the highest number of grains per spike (45.06) of Skerzo cultivar was concluded that in terms of promising varieties in the region.
