Abstract (EN)

In recent years, the development process discussed within the agenda of income distribution inequality and poverty are among the major topics of Economics. Since the second half of the twentieth century, with the globalization of the world commonly referred to as the richest period of significant growth of prosperity, income inequality and poverty, in both underdeveloped and developed countries are the most important issues. Many people is living below the poverty and hunger worldwide limit. However, in the world and Turkey, income inequality and the appearance of widespread poverty began to be investigated. All the world to take serious measures to reduce poverty and vulnerability of the income distribution is directed. Therefore, when continuing income distribution by various international organizations in the world inequality and more studies it has been made on poverty.Human development index of the country at the beginning of this review, income limits on inequality and poverty has taken place. In this study, world income inequality and poverty reduction policies and policies for fighting poverty, inequality of income distribution in Turkey is evaluated in the prevention. Prepared for the poverty and inequality of income distribution in Turkey and the world the policies are inadequate and delayed progress was observed. Therefore, the policy needs to be revised and stable, the necessity of implementation of stable policies are seen as inevitable.
