Abstract (EN)

E-NABIZ AWARENESS OF FAMILY PHYSICIANS WORKING IN FAMILY HEALTH CENTERS IN EDİRNE SUMMARY In this study, we aimed to investigate the use and awareness of e-Nabız by family physicians in Edirne and to increase the use of e-Nabız. The population of the study consisted of 128 contracted family physicians working in family health centers in Edirne and 98 family physicians were reached. After obtaining the approval of Trakya University Scientific Research and Ethics Committee, a questionnaire consisting of 27 questions was applied. Among the physicians who participated in our study, 42.86% were female, 57.14% were male, 82.65% were married, 19.39% were specialists in family medicine, the mean age was 45.45±7.87 years, and physicians had been practicing family medicine for an average of 11.68±4.49 years. While 9.18% of the physicians had never changed their family medicine unit, 50% had changed their family medicine unit once and 40.82% had changed it for two or more times. It was found that 92.86% of the physicians thought that the e-Nabız application facilitated their work, 90.82% thought that their work was faster with this system, and 97.92% thought that the system contributed to the national economy. In addition, 14.29% the physicians often and 54.08% sometimes informed their patients about the e-Nabız system. When asked how much the rate of e-Nabız use changed after the Covid-19 pandemic, it was concluded that 8.16% of physicians decreased, 73.47% did not change, 14.29% increased and 4.08% increased a lot. It was determined that there was a significantly higher increase in physicians who were satisfied with the e-Nabız system and a higher increase among family physician sepecialists. It was also observed that 27.08% of physicians thought that the e-Nabız application made their work easier during the pandemic. Among physicians who thought that it did not make their work easier, it was found that there was no change in their use of e-Nabız during pandemic. As a result of our study, considering that family physicians are the first point of contact for patients and that primary care plays a key role in patient follow-up, we believe that including family physicians in comprehensive studies can contribute to identifying and improving the deficiencies in the e-Nabız system, as well as increasing awareness among physicians and patients.
