Abstract (EN)

This work; To investigate the effect of UV-C, Ultrasound, Hot Water and Modified Atmosphere Bag and combination applications on the post-harvest quality of blood and Washington orange varieties on the preservation of orange varieties. It is important to know the physiology of my skin for the preservation of blood orange and Washington orange varieties grown in our country. Orange varieties give different reactions to post-skin applications. For this reason, UV-C, Ultrasound, Hot Water and Modified Atmosphere Bag applications and combinations of these have been done on oranges, and their effect on the preservation of orange varieties has been examined. During the shelf life of the oranges at 20 º C, on the 10th day and on the 20th day, laboratory analyzes were performed and sensory analyzes were carried out for the target audience. In the findings obtained as a result of the research, 10.27% weight loss in Ultrasound + Hot Water application in Washington orange and 4.05% in UV-C + Hot Water application in Blood orange were determined. Applications with the least weight loss were Modified Atmosphere Bag + Hot Water, Ultrasound + UV- C + Hot Water + Modified Atmosphere Bag applications. With the prolonged storage period in Washington and Kan oranges, there was no statistically significant change in the amount of juice. Decay loss in Washington and Kan orange was determined as 0.00% in Hot Water application. In Washington orange, 16.67% decay loss was detected in ultrasound application, and 5.00% in blood orange, Ultrasound, Modified Atmosphere Bag and Ultrasound + Hot Water applications.
