The knowledge of people who have different educational level about global warming and its usage in daily life

This research has been planned and done to show the knowledge of global warming of the people who live in Ereğli town of Konya and who have different educational level and to decide the applicaton in daily life. People who are subjects on this research are simply chosen from the teachers in the city center and parents of the students as a small group reflecting the whole. The number and the percent of the data are shown on the charts.Totally 250 people have attended the research.Out of them,125 people are university graduate and another 125 people are at the degree of high school, primary school, illiterate.With the aim of collecting the data, a questionary form consisting of 76 questions is used in terms of people?s demographic knowledge, knowledge over the global warming and saving energy at estate and global warming, saving energy and protecting the environment.After the research,it is seen that people who are at university degree have much more information about global warming ,house equipments,heating,lighting than the people at high school and primary school degree and illiterate.While people at university degree pay attention to global warming,housing waste,saving water much more than the others,people at high school degree and primary school and illiterate pay attention to saving energy more than the people at university degree.Considering on the results of the research, it is suggested that people should take precautions on improving the application and the knowledge of the global warming,saving energy and water,housing waste,lighting,house equipments.Key Words: Global warming, save energy, family, educational level
