Özet (EN)

In this study, in order to determine the anthropometrics and biomechanics factors which affect hand. Manual dexterity test was applied to the dentistry students and the measurements related with hand anthropometry and biomechanics were taken. Çukurova University Faculty of Dentistry students were participated in the study. After the relationships between factors are discovered, input and output datas are determined for predicting the hand grip strength with ANFIS (Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System) and regression analysis. The datas were analyzed with SPSS 15.0. At the end of the study, more clear information was acquired about the relationships between the factors affecting manual dexterity. In this context, this study can be a good reference for future studies and it can be a basic of hand tool design related to dentistry.
