The parable examples in El-Mu'cemü'l-Vasît

el-Mu'cemü'l-vasît, published by the Egyptian Language Association, is one of the important dictionaries published in recent years. There are 30000 items in the work, which is the accumulation of many years. Words are sorted alphabetically according to the first letters of the word roots. We found about 300 parable examples in al-Mu'cem-al-vasit. The parables were dealt with according to the order in al-Mu'cem-al-vasît. By giving Turkish equivalents of the parables we have identified, these parables are given in the Arabic language as "es-Sıhâh", "Muhtâr-as-sıhâh", "Lisân-al-Arab", "Tâc-al-arûs", "Mu'cem-al-lugat-al-Arabiyye al-muâsıra", "Cemheret-al-luga", "Tehzîbü'l-luga", "Kâmûs-al-muhît", "Kitâb-al-ayn" was determined in the footnote.
