Abstract (EN)

This study explores semantic phenomena in the section between the letter "Hamza" and "Ha" in the al-Muʻjamu'l-Arabi'l-Esâsî dictionary. These semantic phenomena are: synonym, homonym, antonym, muʻarreb, dahîl, Müvelled, muhdes, semantic development, phrase and idiomatic expressions. This study consists of an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion. The introduction discusses the vocabulary itself (al-Muʻjamu'l-Arabi'l-Esâsî), the importance of the study, its purpose, the problem, the reasons for choosing a topic, previous studies, the difficulties, and research method. The first part deals with dictionaries. In this part, the concept of a dictionary, its origin, conditions, functions, reasons for compilation and its types are discussed in general terms. In addition, the dictionary of al-Mu'jamul-Arabi'l-Esâsî was discussed in terms of its features, goals, sources, functions and method. In the second chapter: we are talking about semantic phenomena in cursive words in the dictionary of al-Muʻjamu'l-Arabi'l-Esâsî. Synonym, homonym, antonym, muʻarreb, dahîl, Müvelled, muhdes, and semantic development are mentioned here. In the third part, attention is paid to the semantic phenomena in the compositions of the al-Mu'jamul-Arabi'l-Esâsî dictionary. Here the phenomenon of phrase and idiomatic expression is discussed. And at the end, in the conclusion of the study, the achieved results are written.
