Abstract (EN)
Behcet's disease (BD ) recurrent oral and genital ulcers, uveitis, and skin lesions are characterized by a chronic inflammatory disease . The pathophysiology of BD is unknown. BTL defined in recent years is one of the members of the Ig superfamily . BTLA , activation of CD4 + lymphocytes and inhibits IL-2 production . In particular inflammation , B7 - 1 and B7 - 2 activated T cells bearing the CTLA-4 in the region of the connection or fundamental role. Behcet's disease is a chronic inflammatory disease and is closely related to T cell stimulation . BTLA pathway critical role in chronic inflammatory disease such as Behcet's can take . In this study, rs1844089 and rs9288952 gene in patients with Behcet BTL relationship between gene polymorphisms were investigated. Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) - Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism ( RFLP ) method using the 108 BD patients and 108 healthy subjects , BTL gene rs1844089 C> T and rs9288952 C> T polymorphisms were studied. rs1844089 CC genotype distribution in the patient group : 60.2 % , CT: 35.2 % , TT: 4.6% in the control group CC: 67.6 % , CT: 31.5 % , TT: 0.9 % respectively. rs9288952 polymorphism in patients with the TT genotype distributions : 69.4 % , CT: 26.9 % , CC: 3.7% in the control group TT: 80.6 % , CT: 17.6 % , CC: 1% 9 respectively. Both in terms of genotype and allele frequencies between patient and control groups was not statistically significant (P> 0.05). However, when these two polymorphism haplotype analysis for differences between groups were significant. At the same time polymorphism rs1844089 T, rs9288952 C allele polymorphism carry the risk of disease increases 4.6-fold (p = 0.006). Keywords: Behcet's Disease, BTLA, Polymorphism
