Abstract (EN)

Aim of this study was to comparision of physical fitness and respiratory parameters of wrestlers and judokas. 12 wrestlers and 12 judokas participated in this study. Some physical fitness measurements which; age, weight, height, body fat percentage (VYY), grip strength, 20 m sprint tests, 20 m shuttle run, vertical jump, resting heart rate (İKAS), systolic blood pressure (SKB), diastolic blood pressure (DKB) measurements; forced expiratory volume (FEV1), forced vital capacity (FVC), forced expiratory ratio (FEV1/FVC), peak expiratory flow (PEF), and peak inspiratory flow (PIF), maximum voluntary volume (MVV) vital capacity (VC), expiratory reserve volume (ERV), inspiratory reserve volume (IRV), tidal volume (TV), inspiratory vital capacity (IVC) were measured. Obtained data were analyzed by Independent Samples T test. Their physical parameters of the group; age, body weight, height, VYY, 20 m sprint test, maxVO2, vertical jump, IKAS, there was no significant difference in SBP and DBP. Wrestlers in favor of the right and left hand grip value significance was found. Respiratory parameters FEV1 between groups, FVC, FEV1 / FVC (%), PEF, PIF, MVV, VC, ERV, IRV IVC has no significance and value in TV, IVC were measured. As a result, it can be said that wrestlers and judokas have same features in physical fitness and respiratory parameters, because of both wrestling and judo have same characteristics that are tecnic structure and performance components.
