Abstract (EN)
In the study, considering the climatic character of Diyarbakir that is located in a hot and dry climate region for a sustainable environment , is taken into consideration the building of energy efficient passive systems, what should be the size of the design criterias. For the current climate region, building parameters in the design process has been mentioned. The collected information were evaluated on Dicle University Lodgings. Within this study, the basic principles of the passive dimension of solar energy utilization in architecture and its place in sustainable architecture have been discussed. In this study, approaches found in the passive systems which are intended to minimize the amount of energy, are the parameters in the building design process, have been evaluated in 5 types of housing design in the Dicle University campus area. The first section of the study that is the introduction part in which has been mentioned to the study in a brief. In the second section; focused on the determinations of studies have been conducted until today. The third section of the study is consisted of method and material parts; in metarial part , the working area's aim, finitenesses and method have been explained. Moreover, in the method part from the extent of the values of sustainability criteria 'Sustainable Environment' ',' 'Ecology' and 'Kyoto Protocol' 'are evaluated. Definition of the energy, the types of energy and renewable energy sources have been investigated. Energy efficient passive systems and passive building design parameters have been examined. In the fourth chapter; the evidence is obtained about the lodging that is located in the Dicle University campus area, At the Campus in the A,C, D, E blocks, there are 360 apartmen- style housings, 96 duplex housings. Within this 5 different types of housing by selecting randomly a layer from each block two symmetrical housings that are located in the choosen layer have been examined. Since there are two opposite directions in this obtained 5 types of housings, on a total of 10 type samples of housing passive building design parameters have been examined and by discussing about findings, they are randomly numbered. A total of 10 types of passive building design parameters on the sample issue have been examined and the findings of compliance discussed. Housings' datas for the use of passive systems have been collected , according to their accuracies from 5 to 1 compliance rates are given to these datas by using 5-point Likert scale. In the fifth section ; on housings that are located in Dicle University campus area , obtained on a 10 -point Likert -type sample numbering issues' the arithmetic average rates have been received and in compliance with the passive system parameters have been evaluated. For the new housing structures that will be made suitable for the passive system building design parameters have been established.
