Evaluating the attention and concentration levels of 112 emergency health workers by their working conditions

EVALUATING THE ATTENTION AND CONCENTRATION LEVELS OF 112 EMERGENCY HEALTH WORKERS BY THEIR WORKING CONDITIONS Aim: In this study, it is aimed to determine the spontaneous attention levels according to the working time and conditions of the 112 emergency health workers and to analyze the effect of the variables related to the working conditions on their attention level. Tool and Methodology: In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the relationship between d2 attention test parameters before and after the shift of 112 emergency health workers. The d2 Attention Test is one of the tools that helps to measure selective attention. 112 ambulance personnel working throughout Ankara are includedinto this prospective and descriptive study. Participants' demographic data and d2 test scores before and after shift is statistically compared. Findings:The difference is statistically significant (Z = 8,680, p <0,001), while the median value of E total score is 18 (CAG: 43) before the shift and this value is 28 (CAG = 90) at the end of the shift. At the end of the shift, the median value of E error score is 2.7 (CAG: 6.5) before the shift. This difference is 4.3 (CA = 13.6) and the difference is statistically significant (Z = 8.680, p <0.001). At the end of the shift, this value is 269 (QOL = 90), and the difference is statistically significant (Z = 8,680, p <0.001) while the median CP score is 279 (CAG: 43) before the shift. The difference is statistically significant (Z = 8.680, p <0.001) when the median TN-E score is 640 (CAG: 43) before the shift and 630 (CAG: 90) after the shift. Result:According to the findings, it is found out that there is a significant difference between the results of d2 test before and after the shift.
