Energy economic analysis for municipal waste disposal plant and application for Kocaeli state

In this MSc thesis, energy-economic analysis of incineration technology which is located municipal solid waste disposal technology is discussed. Environmental harmful effects of solid waste is minimized with the mass combustion systems. At the same time with combustion electrical energy is produced. Thus, the solid waste can be recycled economy as energy. "Combustion Technology" is discussed, especially were examined based energy production from waste incineration. The study focused on Kocaeli Municipality and an incineration plant has modeled Kocaeli solid waste and characteristics properties in spite of no related plant in Turkey. With this study, it is shown that solid waste plant is convenient by the energy-economic analysis.
