Abstract (EN)

In this study, The aim of this study was to examine the effects of in ovo feeding method and rosmarinic acid injection on hatching results and post-emergence performance results on broiler hatching eggs with formaldehyde disinfection at different rates (F3x and F4x). A total of 720 Ross 308 fertile broiler hatching eggs were used in the experiment. Trial design of the study 4 treatment groups in 2 main groups (RK-: No application, RK+,: 0.5 ml isotonic water, R1: 0.5 ml 250 ppm rosmarinic acid, R2: 0.5 ml 500 ppm rosmarinic acid) and 3 replications in each treatment group. On the 18th day of incubation, the air sacs were determined from the blunt side of the eggs and injected into the amniotic fluid at a depth of 18 mm from the side of the air sac. After the completion of the incubation process, a sufficient number of hatched chicks from each treatment group and a total of 240 chicks were transferred to the experimental house. The chicks were reared for 6 weeks and data on the developmental performance of the animals were collected during this period. As a result, the effect of formaldehyde fumigation dose (F3x, F4x) on late term mortality (%) and hatchability (%) was found to be statistically significant (P<0,05). The effect of in ovo injection of rosmarinic acid on hatching weight (g) and hatchability (%) was found to be statistically significant (P<0,05). The effect of formaldehyde fumigation dose and rosmarinic acid in ovo injection on body weight at the end of the trial was found to be statistically significant (P<0,01). The effect of rosmarinic acid in ovo injection on the end-of-trial feed efficiency was found to be statistically significant (P<0,01). The effect of formaldehyde fumigation dose (F3x, F4x) on liver weight in males and females was found to be statistically significant (P<0,05).
