Post production process and practice example in film production

The purpose of this study was to examine the post-production stages of filmmaking. Depending on this purpose, it's been dwelled on essentialness of contributors and their roles, collaboration of the producers with the entire post production team. A sample short film was prepared in the direction of the findings obtained. In the research proccess, the stages of film production was introduced in general and a conceptual framework was established by focusing on the concept of "Film Production". The use of digital technology in film productions has been touched upon as a convenience to the producer in terms of influencing the audience and watchability degree of the movie.. By this way, it's been pointed out, effective solutions can be provided in terms of environment, time and proccess. According to the findings obtained in the research, the quality and watchability of film are related to the co-operation of the post-production team with each other and with the director. The importance of the skills of the desktop team in using the software has been pointed out, and if it is not observed, it can be said that there may be problems that cause strange visuals and waste of labor. A sample short film was prepared according to the obtained results and suggestions were made to producers and designers.
