Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is aimed to examine a total of 20 etudes in the book "Etudes Mignonnes Op.131" by Giuseppe Gariboldi, who has important etudes and works in the flute literature and who is also a flutist, in terms of technical and musical issues (speed, tone, units of measure, metronome speed, breathing intervals, technical issues, voicing techniques, loudness terms, ornaments). It is thought that by determining the technical and musical achievements of the etudes, students' technical deficiencies or difficulties will be identified, and results will be achieved more efficiently and in a shorter time in flute education. There are a total of 20 etudes in the G.Gariboldi op.131 etude book. All the etudes were analyzed by qualitative research method and content analysis. With the analysis, each of the etudes in Giuseppe Gariboldi's Etudes Mignonnes etude book was categorized in terms of tonal structure, measurement unit, tempo, speed and nuance terms, technical studies, voicing techniques, musical expression terms, ornaments and their distribution was examined, and the findings were presented in tables. In the study, it was found that the speed terms "andante", "moderato" and "allegretto" were mostly used as tempo determinants in etudes, accordingly, etudes were generally aimed at developing finger agility and quickness, etudes were mostly written in 4/4 and 2/4 units, etudes were mostly written in 4/4 and 2/4 units, etudes aimed at diaphragm and breath control with the use of long breath intervals, etudes were mostly arpeggios, scales, accents, It was concluded that technical exercises such as chromatic transition and triplets were included, thus contributing to the performer's finger coordination, breath control and language development, "legato" voicing techniques were used in all etudes and "staccato" voicing techniques were also practiced, "piano" and "crescendo" basic loudness terms were used in all etudes, and ornaments such as transition note and short step were included in the etudes.
