Abstract (EN)
Strength training programs that are applied to determine the current strength status of athletes and help to develop the strength values obtained are very important for optimum performance. Aim: The aim of this study is to Investigation of the Effects of Eccentric and Concentric Training on Some Motoric Features and Cardiac Activity Applied to Footballers. Method: Twenty male university soccer players (x̄ ± SD, EKS; n = 10; age: 21.7 ± 1.70 years; height: 178.90 ± 7.32 cm; body mass: 81.20 ± 10.03 kg; BMI 24.93 ± 2.37 kg /m2; KON; n = 10; 21.9 ± 1.72 years; height: 175.90 ± 5.62 cm; body mass: 73.23 ± 10.35 kg; BMI 23.75 ± 2.83 kg /m2) were divided into 2 experimental (KON, n = 10 and EKS, n = 10) groups. In addition to 12 weeks football training over 7 hours (4-5 units) in 2 days a week, EKS and KON group performed strength training. All athletes were performed strength tests respectively in the first day. On the second day, the length of all athletes body weight, balance, vertical jump and 20 m. sürat performance tests were performed at the bedginning and end of the 12-week study. Results: As a result of the data analysis, there was a significant difference in EKS strength training group subjects' lying leg curl, machine abduction, machine adduction, balance and vertical jump values compared to KON strength training group (1RM test) (p < .05). Howewer, there was no difference between the groups in (1RM test) Leg extension and 20m. speed, reaction time (simple reaction time and the selected reaction time ) and cardiac activity SDNN (ms), RMSSD (ms) ve Mean HR (bpm) performance tests (p> .05). A statistically significant difference was found in the lying leg curl, machine abduction, machine adduction, balance and vertical jump values of the EKS strength training within the group subjects' first and last measurements (1RM test) of the KON strength training groups (p < .05). However, there was no statistically significant difference within the group in (1RM test) leg extantion, 20 m. speed, reaction (simple reaction time and the selected reaction time) and Cardiac activity SDNN (ms), RMSSD (ms) and Mean HR (beats per min) performance tests (p < .05). Conclusion: In the 12-week EKS and KON strength training programs, it was seen that the EKS strength training group was more effective on lying leg curl, machine abduction, machine adduction, balance and vertical jump than some physical fitness characteristics (1RM test) of footballers (lower extremities). According to the finding of the study, as a part of the annual football training, special training emphasizes the unique power of sustainability of sports performance.
