Examination of the opinions of the personnel working in the provincial directorate of youth and sports on the adequacy of sports facilities (Gaziantep province example)

When we look at the systems of the countries that have achieved success in the field of sports in recent years, it is seen that they are sufficient in terms of sports facilities and areas, both in terms of quantity and quality. Therefore, sufficient sports facilities not only show the development of the countries, but also increase the success in sports. This research is a descriptive study conducted to examine the opinions of the personnel working in the Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate on the adequacy of sports facilities. The population of the research consists of the personnel working in the units affiliated to Gaziantep Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, and the sample group consists of 238 (54 Female, 184 Male) personnel selected on a voluntary basis. As a data collection tool in the research, the "Scale for Determining the Sufficiency Levels of Sports Facilities" developed by Nacar (2011). Independent Sample t test and OneWay Anova test were used in the analysis of the data by using the SPSS 20.0 package program. As a result of the research, it can be said that the branch managers think that the facilities are sufficient, while the other personnel do not have the same opinion.
