Abstract (EN)
This study was carried out at the Akdeniz University Faculty of Science Department of Physics and was aimed to assess image quality control through existing software in the cone-beam computed tomography imaging technique. Conventional subjective methods have been examined for this purpose and objective image evaluation has been done by using XVI, ImageJ and Python software instead of these scientifically discussed methods. The quality control tests of image guided radiation therapy machine were performed by referring to the current publications and applying the methods recommended by Elekta firm. Geometric accuracy, linearity, uniformity, noise, low contrast resolution and spatial resolution quality control tests were performed. The differences in evaluation data of image quality control tests were compared. In a shorter time, these test images have been obtained through existing software on a numeric base.
