Abstract (EN)

In this research, it is aimed to determine the students' thoughts, emotions and behaviors about environmental and recycling. This study was carried out with 5th, 6th,7th and 8th students from six schools selected from Yesilyurt and Battalgazi central districts of Malatya province in 2018-2019 academic year. In this process, screening model was applied in the thesis. In this study, "Student Attitudes Towards Environmental Effects of Recycling" questionnaire developed by Avan (2011) was used as data collection tool. t-test and ANOVA analyses were performed for data using SPSS 22.0 program and the obtained results were tabulated. The evaluation of the data was done according to the gender, place of residence and income of the students. According to the results, it is seen that the recycling knowledge and environmental sensitivity of female students are higher than male. It was determined that recycling behavior decreased as the family's financial income increased. The average score of recycling behavior of the students living in the apartment is higher than the students living on the site. While the children who mothers have university degree had lower recycling behavior, the environment sensitivity and recycling behavior also differ according to father's education level.
