Abstract (EN)

The message or effective expressing on a design or a composition for the onlookers is related to the gathering and position of the elements which are to be used. Form, size, space, texture, direction, colour and light-shade, which are forming a design's base are the basic elements, and these elements show a distribution with some relations on the surface. And these relations are formed up with the principals of harmony, hierarchy, repetition, symmetry, asymmetry, unity, sovereignty, opposition and balance. Principals of opposition and balance, which are providing the tuning of elements gathering, among those others are the principals to provide the arousing of interest, give liveliness to the work, form the stress and provide the feeling of movement. In visual expressing, the balance arranging the distribution of the elements on the surface is divided into four separated titles as symmetric, radial, crystallise and asymmetric. On the balances of symetric, radial and asymetric the same repetition or equal distribution occur and because of this, asymmetric balance, which provide the gatherings in the base of opposite relations is, usually, being used in order to provide the arousing of interest and form the stress. In the base of asymmetric balance different forms, weights, sizes, spaces, colours and directions put forward an effective, dynamic and active expressing. The effects that the basic elements in a design or composition with the relations of oppositeness show differences for each element. The relations of oppositeness related to the form appear as cornered-rounded, big-small and negative-positive. Using the forms which have the same size, shape, texture andcolour togetter in a design or composition form the monotony. Having forms thai have different size, shape, colour and texture help the work be more attractive and effective. Things that provide the effect of volume and give the feeling of three dimension and separate the elements from the place are the oppositions of light-shade. Light; expressed by dark areas that it is a shade in bright areas, and the balance between bright and dark areas form the volume and the effect of light-shade opposites. The same spaces repeated among the elements on the surface give the feeling of plainness, on the other hand using different spaces form the effect of deepness. The areas of elemente on the surface and the oppositions of space between them and the views formed as in the front-at the back and above-blow provide the effect of movement and activity and they all form the rythime between the elements. Transparent spaces that give the feeling of both in the front and at the back form the plane with a great contradiction and put forward the fourth dimension. The repetition of textural features belong the elements used on the surface is not an attractive component, but the attractiveness increase on the surface on which different textures as rough-plain, hard-soft are used, but the balance can be done by forming texture oppositeness and stressed areas. The element of direction, which provides the feeling of movement, put forward a stable effect when repeated in the same way, but put forward an active effect when repeated in a different way. Directions are grouped as vertical, horizontal and diagonal, and the oppositeness of direction are lined up as up-down, right-left, paralel-bent, horizontal-vertical and front-back. The size and proportion of the elements of design are in a great importance. The oppositeness of size between the big and the small form the stress point in visual expressing with the values like tali-short and thin-tick. And the oppositeness of colour show differences arousing from the colour's physical and psychological effects as bare, complementary, light-dark, simultaneous, quality, quantity and hot-cold. The effects like in the front-at the back, big-small, volume- plain, with and without light, hot-cold and few-much are formed with these colour oppositeness. VIOut of these basic relations of oppositeness that form the visual expressing, there are other oppositeness used in designs and compositions like quantity, material, concept and function. Distribution of the number of the elements, differences of materials, gathering the different concepts oh the same surface or changing the function of the object and loading differed meanings and functions to them arouse the interest of onlookers by giving different effects with stressed components.
