Teacher views and evaluations related to the art education of gifted and talented children

In this research,it has been aimed to make clear what Science and Art Centres and Anotolian Fine Arts High School art teachers think about the subject in visual arts researching the works related to art education in our country.The public survey consisting 11 questions was applied whom accepted to participate in research consisting of 31 Science and Art Centre teachers of art.The datums were collected using descriptive method of public survey and interview altogether in this research .According to the findings got from this research, it has been made clear that the majority of art taechers participated in research perceive the concept of inteelect and gifted and talanted asthose who shows intellectual performance beyond his/her old'and they perceive the concept of competent as those who have different points of view and perceive and getting right ones arond them and interpreting correctly.İt has been determined that the great majority of art teachers in Science and Art Centres have taken in-service training education seminar about the education of gifted and talanted chidren and it has been determined that art teachers in Anotolian Fine Arts have not taken private education for training competent children.And they agreed with this idea that teachers who have not taken special education for gifted and talanted children should take it.The great majority of the art of drawing and picture teachers participated in the research have suggested that teachers who will train gifted and talanted children to teach them in education of art in visual arts should be master in his/her branch ,well-informed and experienced educator and they have emphasized that those children should have education which starts before pre-school.İt has become definite that architecture form of schools in which education of art is given is not convenient for gifted and talanted students ,these schools have not enough equipment ,the time given for processing lesson is not enough and the view of those factors effect education in a negative way is accepted by teachers.And it has become definite that teachers agree with the view that it is necessary to form architecture construction suitable for education of art lengthing/extending lesson duration and schoolsshould be eqipped in art training. As a conclusion ,it has been necassary that gifted and talanted childreb are important /significant human sources of the country and it is necassary to accept that these children need to accept that a private education and executivesshold make an enterprise to not lose those children.Key words :Art, Education, Education of Art, visual Arts ,Talentet, Gifted, Talentet and Gifted in Visual Arts.
