Güner Sümer's theaters and theater

Since Güner Sümer is an artist who supports the progressive social movement, his theater works were shaped in this direction. He base the dynamics of his plays on the struggle of people he chose from middle class. The fact that Sümer has come into prominence in the field of directing has caused his other works to be overshadowed. This thesis has been written to examine Güner Sümer's theatre works in terms of structure and to reveal the artist's contribution to our literature with his theatre works. Moreover, this thesis is an original study in that it is the first study that includes all of the artist's theater works and examines every aspect of his plays.
