Abstract (EN)

Sharia register, an important resource for local history research; provides important information in the socio-economic and economic areas of theregion in which it is recorded. In this study, taking into account this information, the transcript of the Amasya Sheriff Register No 7 belonging to H. 1058-1059 and M. 1648-1649 was performed. Within the framework of the information obtained, a small contribution was made to the history of Amasya and it was tried to shed light on the history of Amasya. Kâdı, the chief element of administration and court in the Ottoman Empire; Since he was the representative of the sultan, he was given all authority in accidentsi ın the cases that Sharia settled in the courts, it was assisted by the castle desingners, subashis and registers. Towards the end Ottoman Empire, as in every institution, the intitution of papermarking began to deteriorate, and the non-commissioned judges sent regents to assist them. It is also seen what kind of reflection of the situation of the Ottoman Empire to Amasya which is one of the edict examples in the registry. It is understood from the edicts sent to the Kâdı during the Cretan expedition that there were timed sipahilis to participate in the expedition in Amasya. It is seen that the groomed sipahs who did not participate in the campaign were taken away. Key words: Ottoman, Kâdı, Amasya, Sharias Registry
