Analysis of Hasan Ali Toptaş's novels in terms of structure and theme

In this study named Analysis of Hasan Ali Toptaş?s Novels in Terms of Structure and Theme; five novels of the author that are Sonsuzluğa Nokta (1993), Gölgesizler (1995), Kayıp Hayaller Kitabı (1996), Bin Hüzünlü Haz (1998) and Uykuların Doğusu (2005) have been examined.In the first part of the study which consists of two main parts; the authors life, his opinions related with literature and art, and his works have been scrutinized. In the second part of the study which provides the basis for the thesis, the novels mentioned above have been presented one by one according to their publication dates under the main titles of ?Structure? and ?Thematic Fiction.In the ?Structure? part consisting also the name and the content relation; together with plots, poit of view and exposition techniques, time, place and characters which all together ensure this structure have been scrutinized. The characters in the novels; main character and character formation, norm, card and fon characters have been examined in the frame of their functions and features. Under the title of Thematic Fiction, the themes of the novels have been explained by giving attention to density criterion. In this part, a different viewpoint has been brought to the present structure by scrutinizing the person, consept and symbol values, which provide the dramatic action in the novels, in the frame of Prof. Dr. Ramazan Korkmaz?s Kora diagram.In the final part, the findings that have been gathered throughout the study have been revieved. At the end of the thesis, there is a general bibliography which consist the sources that have been used of.
