Hastane Çalışanlarının Performans Değerlendirme Kriterlerine Olan Algıları: KKTC Gazimağusa’daki Hastanelerde Çalışanlar Üzerine Bir Araştırma

Along with the development and change that took place in the world, the importance given to human power in all organizations has also increased. It has emerged that in our era, the most important way of achieving high efficiency in all enterprises, and especially in health care institutions, is to benefit from human resources more effectively. Based on the literature, human being is concerned about the importance of human resources and performance evaluations. This thesis emphasizes the importance of human resources in health institutions and evaluates the performances of health personnel in private and state hospitals located in Gazimağusa province in TRNC. Gazimağusa State Hospital, Famagusta Medical Center Hospital, Kunter Güven Hospital and Yaşam Hospital, have been selected in order to evaluate the performances of a total of 122 administrative personnel.Variables used for analyzing are gender, age, work (occupational) experience, work status, work place, salary and performance appraisal criteria. One Way Anova-Test, Independent T-Test were applied. Empirical Results can be concluded that there is a significant difference between performance evaluation criteria and gender whereas there was no significant difference between the performance evaluation levels of health personnel, age and salaries.When the impact of the job status on the performance evaluation is analyzed,'They do not need enough measures (precaution) to reach its goals’,‘personal care,costume dress and customer are very good at responding to questions and complaints at a satisfactory level ' are the criteria thata significant difference was found and in the other criteria there was no significant difference.
